As a self-employed person you can deduct expenses for your office space.

What kind of office costs can I expense?

  • Rent

  • Waste disposal

  • Repair costs

  • Energy costs

  • Office insurance

  • Furniture (office chair, table, etc.)

  • Maintenance and renovation

What about co-working space?

Co-working space is a great way to work as part of a community while being self-employed. Subscription for a co-working space is fully deductible as a business expense. Just make sure to get an expense invoice with all the required details.

What if I am working from home?
